APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Public Hearing & Regular Meeting- June 3, 2010
PUBLIC HEARING: The City of Buena Vista intends to amend its fiscal budget. Accordingly, the City will conduct a Public Hearing on June 17, 2010 at 6:00p.m. or shortly thereafter in the Council Chambers, 2039 Sycamore Avenue, Buena Vista, Virginia. The hearing will be conducted to receive public input on the budget amendment.
The hearing will be open to the public. Any person desiring to be heard will be given the opportunity to present oral or written testimony within reasonable time limits as determined by the City Council. The proposed amendments will appropriate the following amounts in addition to those appropriations contained in the previously adopted budget for fiscal year 2010.
Social Services $380,000
Victim Witness $2,165
A copy of the budget amendment is available for review in the City Manager's Office, Municipal Building, 2nd Floor, Sycamore Avenue.
