City Council is composed of 7 members, 6 elected as general council and an elected Mayor.  Click here to see the entire council.

      The Mayor serves a two year term and each councilor is elected for a 4 year term.  The elections are staggered so that no more than four new councilors are elected in one election.

    City council holds two-regular meetings per month.  They are held on the first and third Thursday of the month.  Unless otherwise advertised, meetings begin at 6:00pm and are held in council chambers at the Municipal Building (2039 Sycamore Avenue).
